Custom AZ Tours

Tour. Taste. Travel in Style. There are many wineries and vineyards in the Southern area of Arizona:  Sonoita/Elgin and Wilcox regions. We provide wine tours for groups and parties up to eight adults* or as small as a couple or individual in our luxury eight passenger Excursion SUV limousine.

We will provide a custom route for you depending on your interest in a particular vineyard or region.  With these regions being approximately four hours away from the Phoenix area, an overnight stay is strongly suggested, if you wish to tour more than just a few vineyards.

Open Seating Option: To maximize the value of your tour, groups with less than eight guests can open their tour to folks outside of their party. Please let your booking agent know you would like to have open seating in your limousine and a notation will be made on our calendar to encourage guests to join your party.

The open seating option will close two weeks prior to your tour and you will be contacted to finalize payment. See our Tour Pricing for per person rate. Your credit card will be charged for the full tour 72 hours prior to the date of departure.

Calendar:

Throughout the year, many of the vineyards we visit have special events. Please view our calendar of events for vineyard events to attend during your tour. AZ Wine Tours will be your transportation to these events.

Departure:

Our custom Southern Arizona tours begin at one or two pre-arranged pick-up locations (of your choice) in the Phoenix area between 8:30 – 9:30 AM. Since the trip to Southern Arizona will take three hours, we recommend guests to enjoy a full breakfast prior to departure. Refreshments and light snacks are provided for your travel. After pick-up, we’ll head south to the your specific location (Sonoita/Elgin and Wilcox).

Arrival:

We will arrive (Sonoita/Elgin or the Wilcox region) for lunch and touring the area wineries.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

After a full afternoon of touring and tasting, you will enjoy your evening meal and be driven to your prearranged overnight accommodations (hotel or B&B). The following morning after breakfast, we will continue vineyard tours, followed by lunch. We will depart for Phoenix after lunch.

PHOENIX ARRIVAL:

We’ll safely drop you and your party off at the same location between 5:00 – 6:00 PM. You will have completed two days of touring, tasting and traveling in style with AZ Wine Tours.

RESERVATIONS:

Southern Arizona custom tours are designed around your specific requests. Custom tours are weekend excursions only, scheduled between Friday and Sunday. Please note, the majority of wineries and vineyards in the Southern regions are have limited hours primarily only open during the weekend days.
